Joan Kellogg, MA, MA, LCPC, founder of the Healing
Center, LLC holds a Master’s Degree in Gerontology/ Thanatology and a
Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. She is a Doctoral Candidate in
Clinical Psychology, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a
Certified Transpersonal Therapist. |

She was the first graduate intern for the Hospice of Northeastern Illinois and chaired the committee that developed the “Grief to Hope” community bereavement program, which she then managed for two years. Joan has received training in alternative healing art therapies such as Healing TouchÆ, yoga, and meditation and has been a lifelong student of alternative medical traditions and world religions. She combines her unique awareness to meet the needs of the diverse population that she serves. Prior to moving to Barrington, Illinois in 1979, Joan held executive, corporate, and regional management positions in the hotel and real estate industry. In 1979, Joan co-founded the Concord Group, an Executive Search and Outplacement firm. She served as Managing Director until 1988. In addition to being an active member of several Barrington area community and business organizations, Joan serves as an adjunt faculty member of the Department of Psychology, at William Rainey Harper College in Palatine, Illinois. |
